When do I get my Braveband?
This product is currently in development, and we are excited to offer an exclusive pre-order opportunity. By placing a pre-order, you are reserving your item in advance, and your payment will help support the final stages of production. We anticipate launching late 2025, but this timeline is subject to change as we refine and perfect the product.
If we experience significant delays, you will be notified, and you may request a full refund at any time before your order ships.
Meanwhile, the non-tech matching bonus bracelet(s) will begin shipping in late April in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
What Phones Can I Use the BraveBand With?
The BraveBand can send and receive vibrations with any mobile device, regardless of brand or model.
However, to use the Compass feature, your device needs to be an iPhone 11 or newer. This is because these models are equipped with the radar chip that enables precise location tracking.
Are You Open to Partnerships?
Absolutely! Our BraveBands are designed with interchangeable jewelry configurations, and we’re excited to hopefully collaborate with other jewelry brands. Together, we can create stylish designs that help people stay safe while looking great when they go out!
What if I Accidentally Send a BUZZ?
If you accidentally press your BraveBand, no worries! You can easily use the Brave app to cancel the notification and stop the BUZZ.
What if Some of My Friends Don’t Have the BraveBand?
No problem! Your non-Braveband friends can still use the Brave mobile app to send and receive buzzes. When they receive a BUZZ, their phone will vibrate and flash. They can also use the Compass feature if they have an iPhone 11 or newer.
As senders, they can use the app to send buzzes to all their friends’ Bravebands as well!
How Long Does the Battery Last?
The BraveBand comes with a coin cell battery that lasts between 1-2 years. All pre-sale club members will receive either a replacement battery or a new pod, depending on our final battery design choice, when your BraveBand’s battery runs out,.
What if I Have an Apple Watch?
Good news! Brave will be Apple Watch compatible! We are currently developing a watch app that will allow you to use your Apple Watch just like a BraveBand, so you can enjoy all the same features directly from your wrist.
Does the bracelet work if my phone dies?
We are still developing this particular ability, but it is our end goal to be able to create something that is valuable in all scenarios.
